You get your own poultry back as we process by the individual group.

Feed Withdrawal/pre harvest owner suggestions:
Feed should be removed from the flock 8-12 hours before the expected time of processing. Water should be available continuously until catching.
The feed withdrawal process must:
- Be done in a balanced way, considering bird welfare at all times.
-Complement the normal eating pattern of the flock.
-Allow birds time to clean up all feed in the feeders.
-Allow the gut to be emptied without excessive weight loss occurring.
During catching:
-Minimize light intensity and avoid sudden increases in light intensity.
-Control and adjust ventilation carefully to avoid heat stress.
- Catch birds with care, avoiding injury.
Transport:
-Transportation should be done using suitable vehicles which provide adequate protection from the weather and appropriate ventilation.
-Use ventilation, extra heating and/or cooling when necessary.
- Minimize stops, transport distances, and transport time.

Dahl's Custom Meat Locker has select retail items for sale daily. Bacon, steak, snack stix, ring bologna, pork tenderloins, and brats can be found most days. We make retail items in small batches to keep the meat as fresh as possible for the customer! Call ahead to get retail products ordered just for you!
